Connecting to the Internet after reinstallation

I have freserve hometime and xp home.
I reinstalled winidows a few days ago, but now when I dial out the number which I have always used, it tells me that this number is incorrect, I have created a new connection in network connections and on the connections tab in internet explorer options I have configured this to connect to the internet by my default connection which is freeserve hometime, when seting up a new connection, I correctly entered my e mail address as well as password and ip name, and I turned off the firewall as I was advised to do this by freeserve, there's no way i'm giving them a call again, their techinical helpine is 50p per minute, as I found out on my phone bill yesterday, regards, Rhuddlan.

Did you enter the primary and secondary DNS numbers when you created a dial up???
