Just bought Poweroid 2301. It comes with Ilyama VisionMasterPro454 CRT monitor. (PC is best buy budget computer - PC Advisor current edition) The signal cable from monitor to computer has a fifteen pin male connector at each end. (called a D Sub connector (MB30) in manual)There is no corresponding port on the computer - there is a nine pin male port, a serial printer connector and a host of USB ports plus some things I dont recognise. How do I connect monitor to computer please. Sorry is this is a bit basic for all you buffs out there.

There MUST be a connector. Maybe not with the others (mouse, keyboard etc) but lower down the back of the case.

It'll be blue and will look LIKE click here

If not best to contact Poweroid!

Do you have onboard graphics, or a plug in graphics card? Either way, there should be somewhere for the monitor to connect to the PC. If not, then someone has left out the graphics card...

Can you open the PC and see if there is a graphics card installed? It should to after the PCI slots (modem, soundcard etc) and will be in a shorter slot.
