Connect to local network and to broadband

Does anyone Know of a swiched splitter which will let me connect 2 cables to my laptop first cable is to the office network and its slow internet connection, second cable is to a \\\\broadband internet connection

Perhaps getting silly for a moment, you could have two network adapters installed in the laptop. Connect to the office network with one of them using a "non-internet-compatible" protocol, such as NetBEUI or IPX/SPX, and use TCP/IP in the second one to connect to the high speed broadband service.

This would require that any computers in the office network that you need to connect to also run the alternative protocol.
