Connect external USB device to two PC`s

Does anyone know if this can be done?
Connect an external USB device to two PC`s via a splitter in the cable if there is such a thing.
For example a USB TV device so that both PC`s can use the same device without having to unplug it from one and then plug it into the other.
The PC`s are not networked.

USB auto switches are available from Ebuyer etc.

A friend uses one of these to share a printer/scanner between two PC's, it works fine.

Thanks ton, looks like the ideal thing but very pricy at £50 inc vat&p+p. The cheaper one at around £20 only supports USB 1.1.
Thanks anyway for your suggestion. Does anyone else know of any other (cheaper) ways of doing this?
