I partitioned my startup drive to only five gigs and stupidly downloaded too much onto it by accident. So now i turn my pc on and the following message pops up:

***Stop: 0x00000073 (0x00000001, 0xc000017D, 0x00000004, oxf7519BB8

From what i've read, it reccomended i get a program called regcure, download it and run it.
Thats all well and good, but the pc won't boot up, it keeps going to that error message.
Does anyone know of a way to fix this at all?
Please help, i desperately need to get at files!

i think ive finally learned my lesson to back up my files!

thanks in advance,

Hi mcspongeicus,

I am presuming you are running windows xp.

Have you tried starting in Safe Mode?

To do this repeatedly tap the F8 key as you turn on the machine, once in safe mode remove the downloaded files and try restarting.
