You most likely need a new motherboard, some times you can get a BIOS but only if it's a standard build comp not Manufacture build like dell etc

I believe you can clear the cmos by removing the m/board battery for 15 seconds and then replacing as well.

Check Motherboard Manual it may be a dual BIOS so you can put the old one back in case of a bad flash

i cant see wether it is dual boot but how do i go about trying to put a bios back in it might be worth a try

  woodchip 22:19 27 Jan 2008

it will say in the motherboard manual if it is Dual BIOS

  polish 22:23 27 Jan 2008

it does not say dual boot in the manual

  woodchip 16:47 28 Jan 2008

Then you need a new BIOS or Motherboard

wood chip how do you add a new bios do you need to put it on a floppy the computer does not get to the load up screen to choose
the option to boot from floppy
