Computer crashes when I use demanding programs

Hey guys, so I just bought an RTX 2080, and my computer seems to be crashing whenever I do something that requires high usage (Rendering, graphically intense gaming).

I have an i5 7600k, and a 650W Power supply. I'm aware it's a bit of a bottlenecked CPU, but a new one will be arriving soon. But either way, if I'm running a game like Rocket League or something not too intensive, it runs great, but when I run something like Just Cause 3 at max settings, or am trying to render a GPU accelerated video my computer just dies... hope you guys can help out thanks so much!

First advice would be to take it back to where you got it from.

However your machine just does not reach the specs required for Cause 3 at max

...... my computer seems to be crashing whenever I do something that requires high usage............

What are the internal temperatures when it's running like that? I'm particularly interested in the CPU & GPU temperatures. If you don't have a monitoring utility then I can suggest one.

What makes you say that Fruity? The specs that Damon posted massively exceed the "Recommended Requirements" section on your webpage. His PSU however is the minimum recommended wattage.

SS i may be reading it wrong but ok for minimum not on max the op is trying to run it at.

Having just waded through a number of User Reviews I think that a 650W PSU may be a little light for that beast
