Have been told that our PC may be causing the broadband line to drop due to a component giving off interference ie electromagnetic field. If this was so any idea what would be the most likely (pc out of warranty) component would be or what would be the best course of action.
Can you give a bit more detail about the problem you are having and the equipment you are using?
In the meantime here's a couple of thoughts to be going on with.
Having a USB modem too close to a monitor can cause problems and you should also check in the computer's BIOS that the "Spread Spectrum" function is enabled as this is meant to reduce electromagnetic interference from the pc itself.
