colour setting problem

  hector710 13:32 29 Nov 2003

I have recently reformatted my C drive and reinstalled Windows,98 2nd edition; everything works fine except for the display; I can only get 16 colours and a 640 x 480 screen area; I cannot change this in the control Panel; I have a Philips 107E monitor. Before I reformatted, I could change to high colour and change the screen area.

you need to download or install graphics drivers

you will need to install drivers for your graphics card if you havent already done this.

Depending on what kind of machine you have the graphics may be onboard (built into the motherboard) or a seperate card.

If it is onboard you should have a motherboard cd from which to install the drivers from.

If its a seperate card you should have a cd for this too.

Assuming that you havent installed any drivers , you will want to have a look for modem/sound driver cd`s lso.
