Open the program, click on Personal Firewall, click Configure. Choose the Advanced tab and click General Rules. There are rules in there about ICMP. You can modify them, or disable them. For example, if the current rule permits all connections, you can restrict it to only local network computers if you've given them fixed IPs. It's a real pain in the backside this. If you do change the Norton rules, keep a careful record of what you've done, but you can reset everything to default if you get in a mess.
