HI,
JUST PURCHASED AN MSI CD-RW AND ITS WORKING PERFECTLY WELL COPYING CD'S/LOADING SOFTWARE ITS BRILLIANT!
UNTIL I TRY TO RUN IT WITH NERO....I CLICK ON CHOOSE RECORDER IN NERO AND ITS NOT DETECTING THE DRIVE.
IVE CHECKED IF EVERYTHINGS OK WITHIN WINDOWS AND BIOS REGARDING THE DRIVE AND NO PROBLEMS AS FAR AS I CAN SEE.
NERO JUST CANT DETECT THE DARN THING.
OBVIOUSLY I NEED NERO TO COPY MY FILES TO DISC AS CLONE DOES NOT HAVE THIS OPTION.
HELP ANYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you will also find that Nero does not like any other copy programme to be installed, I remember from when I installed nero a big notice was displayed to this effect, you could try un-installing clone and then trying.

Did Nero come with the drive or did you get it from another source? If it did not come with the drive, it may be a cut down version which was not designed to operate with your drive

Follow Joe McG's link and download a file called CDROM.CFG
