clip board storeage

  popgeorge 11:37 03 Feb 2006

I am reliable informed that I can store up to twelve items to a clip board. If I select a number of images from clip art using “copy” why is it that if I open a word document I find it will repeatedly paste the last image copied.? and how can I access the other images
Many thanks

Open the Task Pane and choose Clipboard from the drop down list. All your copied items should be visible. Click on the arrow next to the one you want and choose Paste.

I think that option ended with Word 2000. It certainly doesn't exist in 2003. The Task Pane has been used since Word 2002.

I have been using word 2003 Edit,Office Clipboard seems to work fine, although I find I can only select one image at a time, opening and closing Clip Art each time gives me the multiple chose in the Clip Board. Using a text box allows some form of control over the size of image.
Thanks for all your help and comments

I have also been under the impression that the Clipboard will only hold one item at a time.

There are probably Clipboard manager programs that will enable you to hold more than one item at a time, but I can't find any free ones.

Try typing clipboard in to Google.
