until recently when i held the mouse arrow over a click here link it used to give me the info of the site it linked to, now it does not can anyone explain why

I've noticed that too, but its sometimes OK.
The link is always shown in the bottom left toolbar if you're using IE

If you're using IE, click here & download '92. Show Full URL Path links in IE Status Bar'.

Close IE.

Run the .reg file by double-clicking on it. It will come up with a warning: "Are you the registry". Click on Yes.

Re-open IE & test to see if the problem has gone away. G

Sorry I misunderstood, but BT was on the right track. I thought you meant the URL path links were not showing in the Status Bar.

If I'm not mistaken, I think the mouse over info depends on how a website is coded. Some websites have this facility & some don't. G

Click on the compatibility view tab in the address bar.

Using BT Yahoo - Main menu > Tools > Compatability View (Toggle)
