to clear ALL of M/Word to re-install

My son corrupted my M/Word.

I've removed most BUT not all.
Almost seems impossible,but I need to to re-insall it form disc. Help Please.

Which version of Word are you using?
You normally don't need to remove everything. When you run the install it will ask if you want to repair, update or remove Office.
If you select repair it will restore all the essential files.

Can you explain the difficulty that makes you think it is corrupt?

The reason I ask is that there may be a display which has lost toolbars or something like that?

In spite of reinstalling Word retains the original "fault" because this is a legitimate view (to Word) and needs certain Key clicks to alter things back to what you regard as normal.

The 'ockerd instructions are buried deep in the registry and removing all traces before reinstalling are easier said than done.

To completely remove Office you need to run a Microsoft Utility or you can uninstall it
