cleaning a laptop keyboard

Not good news! I suggest you take this to a specialist for cleaning and check if you have any insurance to cover any damage.

If the computer is still working after it has dried out be very careful. If it was a fizzy drink or example, you will get sugar residue that will probably now be sitting on your motherboard. Add a bit of heat and it could permanently damage it.

Removing a keybard, depending on the model is a little tricky and you would need specialist (torx)screwdrivers. I wouldn`t recommend it unless you are fairly competent and confident with cleaning up the actual motherboard.
