Cleaning flat screens

Does anyone know how to clean the screen on a flat screen monitor? I have noticed that my screen is splattered with food because I eat while I surf. I dare not touch it because it seems so delicate

Kind regards
Jaimie

I clean mine as per Dell instructions with a damp cloth, damp being the operative word. not wet. Works no problems for me.

In a nutshell, use a slightly damp soft cloth.

Try a 'Tommy Tipper'... Well some one had to say it!

Thanks guys, I'll give it a go with just a moistened duster

Kind regards and thanks to everyone

make sure the cloth is not impregnated with any solvents and make sure it is "lint free".

Wet dusters tend to leave bits.

I find a damp towel (as in bath/hand) works very well.
