Sorry its me again does anybody know the best way to it is to clean the fan plus the inlet and outlet grids of dust in a dell Inspron 1525 laptop and stopping it from getting to warm. thanks

Buy an aerosol of compressed air ad blowit out and at the same time hold the vacuum cleaner nozzle to catch the dust as it flies around.
It's no good blasting it off just to settle down again, you may also need a small clean paintbrush to finish off dust that has stuck, but be sure to earth yourself before doing anything so there is no static electricity around, washing hands will also neutralise static.

All I have ever used is a soft paint brush and a vacuum cleaner.

On my old laptop' I could remove the fan cover, don't know about yours. But if it is easy enough and your happy to do it,why not?
