Clean screen!

How can I get the LCD screen on my laptop clean? A combination of everyday wear and tear and a seven year-old's greasy fingers means that the screen is in need of some TLC.

Any advice welcome,

Stuart

Soft, damp, soapy cloth. I let mine just dry in the room, no need to wipe it again.

Make up a week solution of warm soapy water, and use a soft cloth immersed in same and then well wrung out.

Gently wipe over your screen, (Turned off) and the lightly buff with a soft clean cotton cloth. J.

for a seven year old, your spelling and grammar is excellent :-)

One of the new high pressure jet washers will work wonders, but make sure that the monitor is turned off first.

Seriously though, judging by the number of past threads on this subject, my GNR monitor must be one of the very few on the market, to include cleaning instructions in the hand book.

They state that the monitor should be turned off first. Then wiped with a damp cloth. They stress that NO liquid or aerosol cleaners should ever be used. I would be inclined to consider soap or detergent to be a cleaner.
