chkdsk autocheck.Why?

Hi folks,I just booted up my computer and spybot's tea timer informed me of an important registry change and asked if I wanted to allow it.It said it was chkdsk autocheck.I haven't set a disc check so I denied the change.Any ideas what could have caused this? Thanks

If your system detected a serious/fatal error then it can schedule a chkdsk at next restart.
If I was you I would run chkdsk manually via the start>run>chkdsk /f option.

Thanks Ditch999.As far as I know the computer had shut down normally. It didn't actually do a chkdsk it was just spybot saying that the registry had been changed and it was chkdsk autocheck.I'll run it manually anyway.Thanks.
