chipset fan problem

  gaslamp 21:42 05 Feb 2009

I have a treasured pc with a MSI K7N2 delta2 Platinum edition motherboard. The chipset fan has cracked on the centre of the blades which was my fault. I have tried contacting MSI but they have no replacements.

Please has any one got an identical board they are willing to sell me so I can use the fan?

Or is there a replacement heatsink i could fit. I was looking at the Zelman heatsink but I'm not sure if it would cool the chip enough. there is a case fan in the pc at the back if I put another case fan at the front of the case would that produce enough airflow for the Zelman?

Your help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Have to say the heatsink and fan shown in the link doesn't look like anything out of the ordinary, worth taking off and going to high street store (local) or PCWorld (if ya really have to) and try and match it up...
