Child Protection software for use when on Internet

Can anyone recommend a free filter that I can try for when my young son is on the PC please.

I've tried iProtectYou but it seems to slow the system down considerably and even on the highest setting blocks a lot of innocent stuff.

Thanks

Be careful with the free ones. I tried a few of these and found that none of them blocked the Daily Star site ( not that I look at it often:-) ). I installed Cybersitter click here It does cost but seemed to work a lot better than the free ones.
