Has anyone had dealings with a company offering cheap software at: click here or click here
if so are they OK?

those sites are either con or sell illegal software

no experience with those site personally, but normally "if something looks too good to be true, it probably is".

You will have noted that they call it OEM software. This means that according to the terms of the licence, it should only be supplied to you with a piece of hardware (anything from a new PC down to a new storage device) If they are not selling it with a piece of hardware then I would suspect the licence would be invalid.

The main thing about buying OEM software, whether it is strictly legal or not, is that you will not get any support from the manufacturer. Ebuyer sell OEM Windows XP for only £62. The license terms say that it has to be sold with hardware so to comply you should really buy a floppy drive at the same time.
