Change Title Bar
Start, Run, Regedit, enter.

Expan HKEY, CurrentUser, Software, Microsoft, Internet Explorer, Main.

Highlight Main, On the right scroll down to Window Title.

Highlight Window Title. Right click, Modify and change it to what you like. Click OK.

Clear title bar
Start, Run, type in

rundll32 iedkcs32.dll,Clear

EXACTLY as written and click OK

Thanks for the help Fruitbat.I used your method up to"click ok" and it has done what I wanted. Was the rest of it a separate instruction to "clear the title bar"?

Do you need to reboot with the command "rundll32 iedkcs32.dll,Clear" If you don't it does not seem to clear the title. Thanks David

There is no Window Title in XP? David

Can not get either of your two options to work on XP SP2, any comments? Thanks David

Either of the above or any of click here should work with XP SP2.

There is also an option to change the title in the Advanced mode of Spybot.

Thanks VOG your link explains simply. Will try. David

The VOG link to MS had the details to change the title bar. Apparently there is NO Window Title in the registry unless you get a branding, hence thats why I could not find it. It worked.
Thanks David
