changing a celeron to a pentium 4

hello can you replace a celeron processor with a pentium 4!just now my computer got a 2.6 celeron in it and i want to change it to a 2.8 pentium or as much as possible as the maximum clock is 3060!thanks

Celeron = Pentium 4 (if the use the same core, either Northwood or Prescott).

What is the difference? Intel disabled some functions so they sell it cheap to compete with AMD on price at the same time protect the price of Pentium 4. Very clever marketing.

In fact, a Celeron can be flashed into a P4 if you have correct tool to enable what Intel disabled.
