change size of print on an email

  pitcairn 14:58 05 Aug 2009

I recently was sent an email that needed to be printed so as it could be attached to a notice board. The print was too small and all attempts by me failed to achieve a larger size of print. Any ideas?

You could copy and then paste into wordpad. Then you can change the font and text size.

Open the email. Click on 'edit' 'edit message'
Select the wording you wish to enlarge. Right click and from drop down menu select 'Font'. Then click on the font size you require.

Hope this helps.

That won't work on a received email.

It does work. I've just tried it and it is possible - in M/S Outlook.

Oh okay, I was using Outlook Express

I am using Yahoo Mail and I have no edit message under edit!

Somewhat surprisingly, the size of text in outlook express is at least in part governed by the text size setting in internet explorer.

Try increasing it there, then reprinting.

View - Text size - normal setting is Medium - but try others if you wish.

I have just tried that and the print remained the same. Thanks anyway.

Should have said use notepad not wordpad

Have you tried what Grey Goo suggested?

or are you trying to reproduce the whole email with headers etc? and not just the body text of email
