I have just purchased a new pc and after installing nero 7 i cannot burn cds/dvds with these drives.I am running Windows xp and the 2 reader/writer drives are lg gh22ns40.i installed the lg burning software and the drives will burn discs with this software but the software doesn't recognise video ts files.if i try to burn with nero the drive starts to burn and after 30 seconds i just get a blue screen and have to reboot my pc.Any help would be appreciated.

.ts is the extension for a single DVB Transport Streaming file (not a folder).
You must convert a .ts file into .mpeg file before you can burn to DvD...

hi mat alan thanks for your input it's just that nero always recognised these files and burned them no problem on my old pc

try nero burning ROM as opposed to Nero express, that might be the diference...

Is your version of Nero compatible with the OS on your new pc? Check Nero website for updates.

I also recall tales from when Vista was new about conflicts between Nero and the Windows inbuilt burning software which was based on Roxio software (but I expect these issues have been resolved by now).

Also try turning Anti Virus/Windows Defender off temporarily

My Nero 5 don't work either.

I am supposed to buy Nero 10. ollox to that. Plenty of alternatives.

Ashampoo is supposed to be good. I have downloaded it, but not tried it yet.
