CD/DVD burning software required

I have XP Home SP3. I used to have Nero on it for copying CD's and DVD's but Nero threw a complete wobbly and was an old version anyway, so removed same. Recommendations for replacement?

I had downloaded IMGBurn a long time ago. Are you able to copy both CD's and DVD's with IMGBurn?

ImgBurn is a lightweight CD / DVD / HD DVD / Blu-ray burning application that everyone should have in their toolkit!

Looking at the link in respect of IMGBurn I do recollect using aeons ago. To copy a CD to another CD, do you not have to copy the source CD to an image on the hard disc and then transpose that image to the target CD?

Think ya do, but small price to pay, actually no price at all, just takes a bit longer...

* Does not support RAW disk ripping or burning
* Does not support multi-session discs
* Cannot read or write CD subchannel data
