CD-RW Not Reading Anything

I have two HDD's on IDE1 and a CD-rom and CD-RW on IDE2 both HDD's work and the CD-Rom Works but not the CD-RW windows has allocated a drive letter of F:\ but if a cd goes in the drive it reads then nothing not an auto run, or if you double click the cd icon in my computer it siply says insert cd into drive F:\ . does anyone know whats the problem? the cd-RW is a BENQ 48x16x48

is this a cdr,cdrw or purchased disc(game etc)or does it do this with all discs?

my cdrw drive doesnt like cheap discs and refuses to see them.

try uninstalling the drive via device manager and restarting the computer,windows will detect it and reload the correct driver for it again.might help.
