My Tiny pentium 4 fell on the floor and although pc seems to work, cd/dvd drawer does not respond to eject button. Is there another way to open? any suggestions for a fix appreciated. ta Mrs HoJo.

Straighten a paper clip out and push firmly but gently into the small hole on the front of the drive.

If you use explorer go to the drive and you should find ( when you have double clicked on the drive ) go to file it should give you the option to eject. If that does not work you will have to do as the famous VoG™ says!

If you have to do this a lot, go into my computer, select the cd drive and create a shortcut on your desktop. This way all you have to do, is right click the shortcut and select eject, as per VideoSentry suggestion.

Hope this helps.

Have a look inside to check the leads haven't been jerked off the rear of the unit.

thanks to all for replying. Putting a shortcut on desktop did the trick. Off to check those leads.
Thanks again.
