how do you tell a cdrw from a cdr wonce you have stuck a lable on it

  clayton 10:15 29 Feb 2004

Dont stick a label on it use a cd marker pen, the label might come off in time & jam your drive.

You should not stick labels on CD-R or CD-RW disks, which is even more relevant if you have a high speed rewriter; the disk, for instance, can becoem unbalanced when in use.

Use one of the proper marking pens to carefully write on a disk the basics of its contents and use the sleeve card notes area to list in detail what it contains.

This is particularly important if you use a CD-R or CD-RW disk in multisession form and makes it easier to find what you require.

If you use Nero the disk info tool will tell you or put the disk type on the label.

The best advice is from clayton & Stuart.
