Cat5e LAN cable

  websurfowen 15:44 22 May 2006

I am just about to take Cat5e LAN cable from downstairs beside my router up to a bedroom the other side of the house upstairs. The wireless signal does not reach that far so cable is my only option.
The route in which i am going to run m cable is above 35m.
Is this too far to recieve a signal

doubt it, the company i used to work for solving internet issues used to regularly run over 50m connections with no issues.

No problem

In theory the limit is 100m so you shouldn't have a problem.
