I am using Win2000 Pro, IE6 and Acrobat Reader 7.0. When I click a .pdf link I just get the .jpeg icon on a blank screen. I have tried to enable the Display PDF in Browser option but it won't stay enabled! What am I doing wrong?
Find a .pdf document, right click on it and select "open with", select choose programme, click on acrobat and ensure that you tick the box that says "Always use the selected programme to open this kind of file"
When you install Adobe it inserts certain files in I.Explorer. which allow Adobe to print direct within I.E. However, if you update I.E. then these certain files are removed so you have to reinstall Adobe so that these files are replaced. If you have updated I.E. then reinstall Adobe.
