Can't uninstall quicktime

  trisha01 07:11 19 Sep 2007

I installed quicktime but when I came to use it an error message box popped up saying that a .dll file was missing, I could not close this box down it kept reappearing and I had to turn the pc off to get rid of it. I can't unistall quick time, it gets so far and then says that a fatal error occurred (sorry don't have either of the two messages) and can't continue. So how do I get rid of Quicktime now? thanks

Try reinstalling it, and then try uninstall again.

Failing that, System Restore?

I did try reinstalling it, It appears to install ok but when I try to uninstall it I still get the above error message.

A system restore won't do any good - the Quicktime had been on the system for a good couple of months.
