i just had a problem about 5 minutes ago.
my computer would not start up but i have fixed it. however im still not happy about the way i fixed it.
I have windows Xp sp2. when i booted up the computer half way through the start up, it restarted. i tried loading it in Safe mode and "last good configuration" but still no luck. but then it suddenly worked. hence im here. but im still not happy. there is a setting that restarts the computer everytime there is an error, but this is switched off. i dont understand. can any one help me? thank you

I would run my security programs just in case it may be a virus.or maybe PSU on its way out.Check that the air vents are not blocked up with dust and fluff if so inside will also need cleaning out.
