Can't shutdown after Standby

  soy 14:16 05 Oct 2003

Been having a problem recently about Shutdowns. If I start the computer out of Standby and then try to shutdown, the computer just hangs and the only way to shutdown is holding the power button. If I have not used standby, the computer can shutdown successfully. The problem only occurs when I have used the standby feature.

I have a feeling it could be down to InCD. When I attempt to shutdown, Windows says InCD is not responding and gives me the option to End Task. I end InCD and the Windows Shutting down screen appears but then just hangs at this point.

Can anyone advise what could be going wrong?

You may be able to find something helpful if you click here

It will keep you occupied whilst Windows isn't shutting down anyway ;o)
