Can't seem to get rid of Google Browser

  Waldo1587 15:30 03 Apr 2015

tried sending a picture to Gumtree, which I haven't had a problem with in the past, but it won't upload due to me using Google. Never knowingly downloaded this and I want to get back to I/E. Tried the normal methods but it seems Google is still there.

Any help really appreciated.

Google regardless, you should be able to load/install any browser of your choice. When you have a chosen browser go to Tools>Internet Options and make sure yoour Settings are as you wish them to be - don't forget to Save and/or make your chosen browser the Default!

Revo click here
should get rid of Chrome if you really do not want it. Run it in Advanced mode.

Thx for the replies. I thought I had I/E as default, that;'s what I've been trying to set up. But when I check on, it still shows Google21 and I still can't get into Gumtree.

Just to be safe, I would download and run ADWCleaner - maybe a toolbar has been hi jacked.

Keep trying to get I/E 11, but Google21 always reappears. Driving me totally insane.

Uninstal it then or do as John suggests.

This is the main problem, it doesn't show anywhere, but when I try uploading to Gumtree it will not do it as I am "using GOOGLE21.". When I check on sites like Which Browser it also says my Browser is Google21. I wish I could just uninstall it but that's the problem, I can't find it.

Do a System Restore to a previous time (Your files and folders are not affected)

Press Windows key and R and type rstrui.exe

Scan with Malwarebytes Free and ADW Cleaner

Also Reset IE

Why have you not run ADWCceaner?.(And Malawarebytes) as suggested by robin_x and others?
