I have tried to install the Apple QuickTime player for windows XP, it goes through all the download (from the Apple site) and then through "run" but then comes a window up saying "system administrator will not allow this programme" and something about the "windoes installer" - my question is: how do I enable to "system administrator" to download the Quicktime player? am on an Acer 5535 laptop with Windows Vista. thanks PCDIMWIT

Why are you trying to install the XP version on Vista?

Sorry made a mistake there, its a laptop with Windows Vista which wont let me install the Quicktime player programme, it downloads OK but then when I click the "install" icon it comes up with a window with a big Red Cross saying "adminstrator will not allow this operation" and something about windows installer. Thanks PCDIMWIT
