Can't find temp folder

I am trying to find the temp folder using start-run-%temp%. But i get a message saying this folder can't be found. i have also tried the search to no avail. Can anybody help me.

Your temporary file should be at:

C:\Documents and Settings\YourUsername\Local Settings\Temp

Assuming that your using XP.

Control Panel, Tools, Folder Options, View, Show Hidden Files and Folders

When i put this in the search it cant find it

As DongQuyCao points out, the 'Local Settings' folder will be hidden and so follow the instructions given to make it visible. Then simply navigate to it, through My Computer.

Thanks guys found it. Is it ok to delete all the files in this folder?
