Cant find my graphics card on a new-build

  Gav5 17:36 25 May 2007

I've just built a new system with Vista64. At the moment, its using the onboard graphics but i've got a 8800gts plugged in. when i put the driver disc in, is says it has no xfx product and stops.
Do i need to disable the onboard graphics in the device manager or bios ? my monitor is plugged in through the 8800gts and its fan is spinning away fine. The rest of the system is as follows,
Abit fatality FP IN9 Sli
Intel E6600
500 Gb Sata
2 Gb DDR2
Any suggestions gratefully received !

Daft question, have you got your card plugged into the right slot,(master)?
