Can't Double Click!!

  [DELETED] 19:41 21 May 2006

Just reinstalled a laptop with MCE, upgraded from Pro. However, now I can't double click on Icons on the desktop. I can do everything else and can move around the icons, single click them and at the moment to use them - right click and press open. This would be annoying for me but not life or death, however this laptop belongs to a novice who would struggle having to right click just to open anything! Any help very much appreciated :)

Have you checked out the configuration from Control Panel>Mouse - you can adjust double click speeds etc.

Thanks for the reply - tried a range of different double click speeds - all to no avail :(

Just a quick update - browsing programs such as AOL or Word/PowerPoint - can't double click either. Can't double-click at all :(

Have you installed the drivers for the mouse?

Not any specifically - just the Windows ones, they worked fine on XP Pro :/
Thanks for the reply
