Can't connect to proxy server say W7 desktop

Yet lappie and tablet connect and browse away.

So what's up?

Desktop is LAN cable con checked, and was OK ten minutes ago before a reboot.

Other devices are wireless-

Searching elsewhere suggests it is a Firefox issue on that one machine.

A setting needs sorting, and to archive this one has to go into tools.

Trouble is the -no can do' tab opens to full page and no top top task bar or right click or other symbol will access tools as far I can see.

Any thoughts any one?

The only thought in mind is 'Revo' it and reinstall.

Solved. Uninstall Firefox and reinstall. Save your bookmarks if you can.

you are prbably right there because it only affected the LAN connected Win7 machine the Ubuntu laptop and Android tablet carried on-both wireless of course.
