The nVidia Networking Controller #2...

Vista says that the drivers cannot be/found will not load and that i should try to update the driver. I've downloaded the driver, tried to re-install it but to no effect. I've attempted uninstalling the current driver yet it just doesn't uninstall. Also tried to re-boot my system but cant do that either for some reason.

Out of options really and any suggestions as to what i can do to get my internet up and running again will be greatly appreciated!

NVidia drivers can be removed or repaired from Programs and Features or you can uninstall the network port in Device Manager and reboot . Does the NVidia controller show up Ok in Device Manager ? Does it have a yellow triangle with it ? Have you tried a system restore to a time before the port stopped working ?
