cant access website with numeric login

The organisation I have just joined has a website notice board which can be accessed by its outworkers to read emails of general interest. To access it I have been given a series of numbers in groups of 2 then 3 then 3 then 2, the first three groups separated by a full stop and then /exchange/ my name. Each time I try this I get Access Denied.I have Symantec and ONSPEED. Have I got to adjust some settings somewhere?

It might be your firewall blocking their severs access to your computer, try disabling the firewall temporarily and see if you can gain access. If you can then access, have a word with the organisations IT department, they should be able to tell you what ports that need to be open.

I assume it worked then?
