Canon BJC-210 Printning Gibberish

  fishfood 16:25 12 Apr 2005

My canon BJC-210 works fine most of the time but every now and then it prints pages of gibberish for no apparant reason. The only way around this at the moment is to cancel the cuurent print job and turn off the printer for about 10 minutes. I would be most grateful if anybody has any ideas. I'm using Windows XP. Thanks.

Check for the latest driver for the printer

click here there is a known issue when connected to a Packerd Bell pc, other than that i would go with recap and update drivers first.

You may have a too long data cable or it's may be faulty

PS if it works through a USB socket make sure it is in the computer not a Hub

Thanks for the tips. Have updated driver. Not using a Packard Bell. Will see what happens.
