canon a70 memory card

I'm looking at getting the canon A70 digital camera.

Now it only comes with a 16MB mem card, so I'd obviously want to buy a bigger memory card.

TO help me chose how big a card I should buy, my question is, roughly, how many pics can you fit per 16MB (at lowest and highest resolution settings).

Memory is so cheap at the moment, get plenty. I now have a number of cards totalling somewhere about 5 or 600 Mb which I carry in a little wallet. Filled them all on a recent fly-drive in the States.

128Mb is only about £20 so why skimp. You don't have to use a full card before downloading files.

Depends on the wuality of image you take, but if you shoot in reasonable quality, you should get well in excess of 100 shots on 128Mb
