I am trying to transfer several audio files from my hard drive to CD audio using the Pinacle Instant CD-DVD on my new PC, but am finding myself unable to do so. I insert a blank disc, select my audio tracks as it tels me I should and then select the write function. After a few seconds the CD/DVD RW spits the disc out and gives me the following error "Error writing the lead in. Extended information #1 Device: DVD_RW NW BOOA (D) Medium Error: Power calibration error: " And then has a load of numbers below it. What does this mean, what am I doing wrong? Please help.
It means that there is a conflict between Pinnacle Instant CD-DVD and your DVD drive. The drive has its own power setting function and Pinnacle is trying to override it. You need to disable the power setting function in Pinnacle.
