i have recently bought a emachines computer but want to install a new graphics card but cannot find a agp slot.The motherboard is a im845gl.
It may not have one. An AGP slot is normally brown, above the white PCI slots, and about 2½ inches long.
sorry but it appears that your motherboard doesn't have an agp slot. it seems to have an integrated vga chip. the best thing to do is to try and get a PCI graphics card but these are getting hard to find, have a look round a local computer fair to see whats available.
According to the manual, downloadable from click here it doesn't have an AGP slot.
