Hi I have a new computer running XP home and for the last few days I keep getting the"cannot display page" mostly when I try to go back to my home page. Also some sites have slowed up although there doesn't seem to be any pattern to this and some are as fast loading as usual. Sometimes when I double click the mouse the page I want loads ok. I have run virus and other checks but nothing comes up. My connection is ok. Anyone got any ideas I could try. I forgot to say I am computer challenged so please keep it simple!
Peter.

In Internet Explorer click on Tools, then Internet Options, then click on Delete Cookies and on Delete Files. When done, click on OK. This may enable your pages to show ok.

Many thanks for the quick reply Technotiger, did as you said, does seem to be some improvement, I will be back on the computer later to see how it goes. Peter
