Cannot access slave drive

I have a 20G slave drive which i cannot access. I windows it shows it as a 738mb drive. When you go into the BIO, it is shown but in faint. Can any one help?

Check the jumper settings on the disk - ensure that it is set as slave and the old one is set as master.

Then go into BIOS and tell it to autodetect drives - if it is older and this is not supported, the get the details from the manufacturer.

Your C (boot drive) should be set to Master and the (now usually D) drive should be the Slave.

Thank you for the above respones, i have checked the jumper settings and are ok, any more suggestions?

Right click on my computer

go to manage

then disk management

Check its properties here - you maybe able to format, partition it correctly from here.
