My stepfather went and purchased an 18 month contract with three mobile internet but it has never worked since he purchased it.There is no signal when i use the 3 USB Modem panel and i have gone over all the settings from three's site and tried entering alternate APN's in settings but haven't had a connection yet.I've tried it at my own house where it claims a 4/5 signal strength but just gives an authentication / connection error when i try to connect [error 619][URL=click here][IMG]click here[/IMG][/URL][URL=click here][IMG]click here[/IMG][/URL][URL=click here][IMG]click here[/IMG][/URL][URL=click here][IMG]click here[/IMG][/URL]Will it be possible for me to return it to carphone warehouse where it was purchased on 5-sept-2008 due to lack of service.
Update, appears to be working tonight but connection intermittant.
What sort of coverage was he told that he would get from his postcode?
By law you have a cooling off period where you can cancel the contract with no penalties, also he can cancel the contract by stating that the goods were not fit for the purpose that they were sold. hope this helps.
